According to a news report here, Georgia have announced that they are withdrawing from the 2009 contest over the row with the lyrics of their song We don't wanna put in.
The EBU have said the song lyrics are unacceptable and Georgian TV have refused to replace the song or change the lyrics, so it looks like Semi-Final 1 on 12th May will only have 18 countries now!

What are wrong with the lyrics...please explain...this is one of the few songs I actually liked this year....what is happening to '09..

Can't allow those lyrics. Samne they don't just change them to
.. We don't wanna GIVE IN.
