The country that gave us Boom Boom Boomerang by Schmetterlinge in 1977 and the unforgettable Alf Poier in 2003 has decided to re-join the Eurovision family after a three-year gap. They may even be one of the first to announce their entry according to this report (in German).

Good to see Austria return, but if given the choice, I'd rather see Italy, Luxembourg - even Liechenstein in Dusseldorf!
