The legend that is Birthe Kjær is back on the Eurovision stage - albeit it as a presenter rather than participant.
Birthe will co-present the Danish Melodi Grand Prix on 31st January. We narrowly missed seeing Birthe live in 2005 at the Eurovision Song Contest's 50th anniversary celebration show in Copenhagen. Unfortunately she had to withdraw at the last minute due to illness.
Hopefully she'll be fighting fit for the Melodi Grand Prix in a few weeks time.
Let's relive that stalwart of many a Eurovision disco - Vi Maler Byen Rød which really should have won in 1989!
