Poor old Mary Spiteri! The final 8 songs for the Maltese final have just been announced by the 'expert' jury, and the Eurovision Diva didn't get either of her songs - My Last Encore or If You Believe - through! Eurovision Express is in shock!
It looks now as if it's a straight sing off between our favourite Caravaggio, and Vodka, a song we like far less. Knowing the way these things go, we expect Vodka to walk it.
Mary now goes the way of that other Eurovision legend, Vicky Leandros, who tried and failed to represent Germany in 2006 - back home. The temptation to give Eurovision can be very strong, but sometimes it looks like it's best to leave things as they are.
