The Ukraine may only have taken part in five Contests, but they've certainly made an impact, having won once and, of course, coming second last year with Verka and the unforgettable Lasha Tumbai.
The unenviable task of following Verka goes to Ani Lorak, who will sing five songs in the national final this Saturday. Amongst the offerings is Shady Lady, written by Eurovision superstar Philip Kirkorow. It's a contemporary uptempo number but not quite as catchy as Work Your Magic, the Belarussian song Kirkorow was responsible for last year.
Ani has tried to represent the Ukraine once before back in 2005, and had it not been for the wildcard song of Greenjolly, she would have strutted her stuff in front of a home crowd in Kyiv with Another Little Shot. Take a look at Ani's 2005 song below.
