Going Dutch

Sineke is the first performer to take to the stage today.  Placed in the centre of the stage is a big, old-fashioned fairground organ, flanked by 2 people acting like clockwork marionettes.  The organ has a screen in the middle displaying SHA LA LIE when Sieneke sings those lyrics.

Also on stage are three female backing singers.  Although Sieneke isn't in her costume today, we got a glimpse of what she is likely to wear - a folksy blue dress, totally in keeping with the visual concept of the presentation.

We have to say we didn't think this had much chance of qualifying, but coming after Ukraine, this could well stand out and be a surprise addition to the Saturday night final.

This looks like a good presentation. I'm scared now.
