Green light for Ireland

So, after 17 years, Niamh Kavanagh is back on the Eurovision stage.  The assembled media and fans greeted her warmly and she looked relaxed and happy in the Telenor Arena.

Niamh is positioned on a small podium, probably 6 inches or so high, and her 4 backing singers are dotted behind her.  The stage is quite dark with plenty of dry ice floating around, and there's some atmospheric use of green and gold light.

Vocally it's good, not perfect, but we suspect Niamh is holding back and will nail it on the night.

Our sources at All Kinds Of Everything tell us that the dress will be purple, so it will be interesting to see how it all looks together on stage.  But this should sail through to the Final.
