Time to book for Baku?

One of the favaourites for this year's competition next, Azerbaijan. The odds are pretty short on this song, and after today's rehearsal they are likely to shorten even more.  We thought that Safura might not quite have the voice to carry the song off, but she does.

The stage is made up of 2 lots of steps.  Safura begins the song at the top of one set, and her 4 female backing singres are perched at the top of the others.  As Safura descends each step lights up, and there's a great camera angle where you see the singers in the background. 

One sole bare-chested male dancer throws some dramatic moves, before Safura weaves her way to the end of the catwalk to fall to her knees, before she looks up to the camera above.  It reminds us of a similar moment in Dima Bilan's winning performance a couple of years back.

Can Safura replicate Dima's win?  Although not everything was absolutely perfect today, on the basis of what we've seen, then yes she can.  Baku 2011? Quite possibly.
