Satellite fails to go into orbit!

One of the pre-contest favourites up next - Germany with Satellite. Blue lights hanging from the top of the stage gave a chandelier effect during the song. Lena was centre stage with three backing singers to her right. . She  stood in the same spot throughout with bright beams of light shining from behind her.

Lena's performance was not spectactular and failed to live up to the high expectations. We can't see this being in contention on the night.

Now we have seen and heard all competing songs in this year's contest, we can say that it really is a wide-open competition, and it is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable and exciting years for a long time!

Quick change of clothes and then off the the Georgian party at Oslo's fabulous new Opera House!

Umm another interesting song. When we see this song as a music video it really is a catchy tune. But the question still remains will it translate to a live performance on stage and is she a strong enough vocalist. Only time will tell. Is it deja vu when Russia and Tatu were expected to romp home. Will someone pip Germany at the post....i think so. But who.....
