Another novelty act. The set looks good, but the Copycat logo and cartoon aren't seen as much as they could be. Patrick, however, sounds bad - he has been suffering with a bad throat and it's very evident things have not improved. Sometimes it's difficult to hear what he is singing. The third song in a row that will struggle to qualify.
Belarus
There was a small technical error at the start of this song, meaning the track cut in ever so slightly late. One thing that's becoming quite noticeable is that the director really wants to show off how good the stage is, so there are a lot of long shots from the back of the auditorium. Sometimes you really want to see the performance more closely. Nonetheless this is the first song that comes across well - and it gets a good reception, partly, although not totally, because Petr is from Belarus and we are in Russia. A qualifier, we think.
