Irish Eyes are NOT smiling

We're just back from the Irish press conference, and they're not happy.

Head of Delegation, Julian Vignoles (who is also on the Eurovision Reference Group) explained that the delegation had arrived at the press conference after an especially difficult session in the viewing room.

He explained that some "basic televisual rules" are not being adhered to, and went on to say that the way that the camera shots are being cut is currently not acceptable. He also said that he didn't believe that Ireland was the only country unhappy with the way its song is being represented on screen.

Whether things will improve by the dress-rehearsals, which for Ireland begin next Wednesday, remains to be seen.
