Fire, cogs and some stilt-walkers - it's Bulgaria!
The Bulgarian entry, "Illusion", got some of that country's musicians in a right flap, and there were protests about its suitability for Eurovision.
So anticipation was rife about how Krassimir, the song's performer, would sound once he got to Moscow. Well at this morning's rehearsal we got the answer - he is as high pitched as always, but in tune. Europe will either find the voice unique or, after a little while, slightly grating.
The backdrop for the song is a mixture of flames and industrial cogs. Krassimir stands at the front, flanked by 3 female singers, whilst a male/female duo on stilts (very France 2004) perform well-rehearsed choreography behind. The stilt-walkers are a little distracting, although, maybe, that's deliberate.
To be honest we don't see this qualifying.
